Carbon Footprints Calculator

The Carbon Footprints Calculator shows the carbon emissions that one can avoid by recycling. It helps grasp the positive environmental effects of recycling various materials. By inputting the weight of the recycled items, one can quickly determine the amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions prevented from being released into the atmosphere.

Recycled items

Here, the amount of carbon footprints are based on the "Greenhouse gas emission factors for recycling of source-segregated waste materials" research and represents approximate values.

Waste Classification

We have developed a small model for demonstration purposes. Here, you can upload an image of household waste, and our AI engine will classify it for you. This model runs directly in your browser, ensuring that your uploaded image remains safe and private.
